A Peek Inside the Lesson

This is the real lesson text your child hears, read aloud by a friendly voice.

A region is an area where places share something, like climate, land or plants.

Rainforests, like the Amazon in South America and the Congo in Africa, are hot, wet and full of life.

Deserts, like the Sahara and the Gobi, get less than 25 cm of rain a year.

Grasslands, like the African savanna and the Asian steppe, are wide and grassy.

Mountain regions, like the Himalayas and the Andes, are high and cold. Polar regions are icy all year.
