A Peek Inside the Lesson

This is the real lesson text your child hears, read aloud by a friendly voice.

The Silk Road was a network of trade routes linking China, India, Persia, Africa and Europe.

Traders carried silk, spices, paper and ideas, not just goods!

Ibn Battuta, from Morocco, traveled about 120,000 km across Africa and Asia in the 1300s.

Zheng He, from China, led huge treasure fleets to India and East Africa in the 1400s.

In the 1500s, Magellan's crew was the first to sail all the way around the world.
